WebSep 25, 2013 · The DPF fills up with soot as you drive, and every once in a while this is burnt away at high temperature (by injecting fuel into the exhaust IIRC) to clear it. That's regeneration. I would guess that 'calculated' is how full it should be based on the driving you've done, and 'measured' is what the sensor says.
